Privacy Policy

LUVSND is a private household utility for understanding English documents and voicemails. This page describes the current product shape and should be read conservatively.

We collect account information such as your name, email address, and preferred language. We also store uploaded files, translated outputs, consent records, and limited operational metadata needed to run the service.

Operational records may include notification preferences, push-subscription records, audit-log records for security-relevant actions, upload and processing state, and limited browser-side state needed to keep the app working as expected.

LUVSND uses third-party services to provide authentication, storage, OCR, transcription, translation, summaries, background jobs, rate limiting, and scrubbed error monitoring.

Document and voicemail content may be transmitted to those processors when needed to provide the feature you selected.

LUVSND uses authentication cookies and similar browser technologies needed to keep users signed in and to deliver core web-app behavior.

With your consent, LUVSND also uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to set analytics cookies and measure site and product usage. Those analytics cookies stay off until you accept the cookie banner, and you can decline them without losing core product functionality.

The app may also use browser or service-worker storage for functional purposes such as remembering dismissed prompts, supporting installed-app behavior, or caching app assets. If you opt in to notifications, we store push-subscription information so we can send the notifications you requested.

Every uploaded item starts private. An item is shared with the family plan only when the owner explicitly chooses to share it, and sharing does not transfer ownership.

Original files are stored in private storage. Access is provided through app-controlled access flows, including short-lived signed URLs where needed for playback or viewing.

LUVSND is not positioned as a HIPAA-ready product today and does not claim HIPAA compliance.

LUVSND is intended for personal, family, and household use, not for use by health care providers, health plans, clinics, hospitals, billing agencies, or their workforce or contractors on behalf of patients.

Do not use LUVSND for workflows that require HIPAA compliance or other regulated handling commitments that LUVSND does not currently provide.

Current safeguards include private-by-default storage, server-side ownership checks on key write paths, family visibility controls, explicit AI-consent checks, rate limiting, scrubbed error monitoring, and durable audit logs for selected security-relevant actions.

These safeguards matter, but they are not a substitute for conservative judgment about what to upload.

Depending on the feature currently available in the app, you may be able to review account details, manage sharing, export your data, or request deletion.

To keep the service dependable, we run scheduled synthetic checks such as page-load and upload-flow tests using dedicated test accounts.

These checks are for quality and incident detection. They are separated from customer accounts and are not used for profiling or advertising.

If you need a copy of your account data, LUVSND supports export tooling through the account export flow.

If you want your account or uploaded content erased, LUVSND supports account deletion and related cleanup flows. Those requests may involve reasonable identity and safety checks before completion.

If you are making an access, deletion, or portability request under privacy law, contact privacy@luvsnd.com so we can route it appropriately.

LUVSND currently relies on third-party processors for hosted infrastructure and AI features. Their data processing terms are maintained by those providers and may change over time.

Processor terms:

• Supabase DPA
• OpenAI DPA
• Google Cloud DPA

Account exports include your profile data, owned vault items, comments you authored, notifications, family memberships, plan invitations tied to your account, push subscriptions, and audit log entries created by your account.

When you consent to AI processing, content may be sent to Google Document AI and OpenAI. OpenAI API content is not used to train models and may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.

When you delete an item through the app or request account deletion through available flows, LUVSND is designed to hard-delete the original uploaded files and related active content from active storage and active application records rather than place that user content in a recoverable trash bin.

Some limited operational records may remain for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, debugging, or reliable delivery of queued system tasks, but they are kept separate from the deleted active user content.
